Mark Machnic, CPA, CVA, MAFF, CDFA, CBEC, CVB, CTA, CM&AA, brings over 40 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Mark owned his own accounting firm until 2025, when he had a successful exit with Poe Group Advisors.
Mark holds many professional designations. These include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), Certified Business Exit Consultant (CBEC), Certified Value Builder (CVB), Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) and Certified Mergers & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
Mark serves as a CPA on one of Poe Group Advisors’ regional teams, where he reviews and prepares financials and provides financial analysis and support to clients throughout the sales process. His experience helps clients prepare for a smooth and successful due diligence process, providing valuable insight and guidance along the way.
Mark resides in the greater Chicago area with his wife, Carol. Mark is a sports enthusiast, having been a former college All-American baseball player.
